Voyageur Canoe Building Project
(just a bit of dreaming)
Some club members have started to talk about building a Voyageur Canoe. Something about 25-30 feet long that will hold 6-10 paddlers. We'll use this space to propagate the dream and to collect information related to the project.

Builds "voyager" type canoes in 16, 20, 26 and 34' lengths. These canoes are built of white cedar and covered with fiberglass reinforced vinylester resin. They very closely resemble real birchbark and in fact do contain real birchbark inside and out. Also build and rebuild/restore cedar/canvas canoes and boats.
