Annual meeting, Wednesday October 25
Author Last Post

A reminder to join us for our annual meeting tomorrow night at 6:00 pm at the beautiful Riverside Room, LE Phillips Library. Camaraderie with your fellow paddlers, delectable snacks, free safety whistles, and a chance to learn about paddling opportunities in Central Wisconsin. Don't miss it!

p.s. We'll also welcome our new slate of officers and board members. Don't forget to vote!

As Wanita said, free street parking is available. Here’s more parking info from the library website:

“Customers have a number of parking options near the library, including the lower level lot (with handicap accessible spaces), both sides of S. Dewey Street, the Riverview Parking Lot (across S. Dewey St. from the library), and the parking ramp located on Farwell and Gibson Streets.”

There should be some street parking free for 2 hours; however, after 5pm they no longer enforce it.

Parking has changed by that library. Where can people park? Is it paid parking?

Please join us from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on October 25 for our annual member meeting. We'll have snacks, giveaways, and a special presentation from Bill Bertram, our Wausau friend, who will talk about the development of the Great Pinery Heritage Waterway. This 108-mile waterway through central Wisconsin combines three watertrails and that traverse 12 communities, from Tomahawk to Stevens Point.

New officers will be announced at the meeting, so be sure to vote!

Hope to ee you there. Mary Lynn
