Agreed. Weather is not gonna cooperate. The Paint Creek paddle for this evening is canceled.

Hello all!
Both of the weather apps I use are forecasting storms for around 6 pm, so I think it's best we cancel tonite's Paint Creek paddle.

Paddled Paint Creek this eve. It has changed a lot after the storm of last fall. Those that have run it a few times will easily see the changes. For the most part, it is deeper & slower. There weren't any changes that will make the paddle more dangerous. The left channel around the little island heading upstream is no longer passable (without walking) but the right channel is fine. The 1st set of riffles must be walked.
Bring mosquito repellent. They were out and hungry!
