HELP! River Prairie P10 Event/Presentation
Author Last Post
PWP is withdrawing from River Prairie's P10 event on June 16th this year. Not enough volunteers to make it happen. Maybe next year.
River Prairie is asking if PWP is committing to the rescheduled date of Sat. June 16 (rain date of June 17) for doing a presentation and having a booth at their P10 event. So far one PWP member has offered to help and that is not enough to pull this off.

If you want to help but haven't spoke up yet -- now is the time. Presentation is 45 min long held indoors with a screen for slideshows. The booth is outdoors from 10am - 4:30pm. We should have 4 people for the presentation and another 6 people for manning a booth in 2hr increments.

I need to let them know by the end of the week if we are in or not as they are putting marketing materials together.

Thanks,
Kathy
Hi Kathy - I'm available the afternoon of June 16th. So please feel free to mark me down for the rescheduled P10 Event, and let me know how/where I can help. Thank you.

The River Prairie P10 Event has be CANCELLED for this weekend.
They rescheduled for Sat June 16th.

The club has the opportunity to do a presentation and have a booth. We will need about 6 people to man the booth for 2 hr shifts from 10-4:30pm. Also we  need 4 people to take parts in giving a presentation with slides in the River Prairie Center.

Please consider stepping up to help out.  We will only proceed if we get some club volunteers for this. Thanks.

We can have a booth at this event too but I am not going to confirm that with Altoona unless we have some PWP members willing to man it. I am tied up with the presentation at 2pm. The booth is from 10am - 4:30pm so could be broken into shifts.

Is anyone willing to take this on and coordinate members to help with it? If I don't hear from someone today, I will tell Altoona no on the booth.

Thanks,
Kathy
PWP is scheduled to give a 45 min presentation at the River Prairie P10 event on Sat May 12th at 2pm.
I am in great need of some help pulling this off!

We have an outline but need some club members to attend, support, speak etc
Here is the outline I roughed out:
- 5-10 min Slide show with music
- 2 min - question audience on paddling
- 5 min Intro to our club - history, membership, social paddles, website, facebook etc
- 10 min Different types of kayaks and paddles and gear
- 10 min Safety - strainers, currents, water temps, Eau Claire river near banbury etc
- 10 min Possibly trips - RR, Apostle Islands, Rolling, rivers, ....

Hoping to hear from some someone to help me out!
Thanks,
Kathy
