Hi paddlers, I think the conditions will be OK on the Namekagen tomorrow. Let's go to Walmart and then Trego as planned and discuss. If anyone is uncomfortable, we can paddle one of the area lakes instead. In either case, bring rain gear, as there is a slight chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. See you in the morning. Thanks Mike. The NPS site is a broader picture than we're looking at. The USGS gage at Leonard's Landing, upstream of Stinnet, is trending toward normal, at 7" above normal height, and about 80% higher flow rate. There are no low bridges in this stretch, so I think we'll be fine. In fact, at normal summer levels, it can be a bit "scrapey."
There is a 20% chance of a thunderstorm after 1:00, but that's typical for any summer afternoon here. If folks bring a rain jacket, we should be fine.
There is a link to the USGS river data on the PWP site under Current Conditions, or here is the direct link for Leonard's: https://waterdata.usgs.gov/wi/nwis/uv?site_no=05331833

We have been checking the water levels and they do seem to be coming down. We will check again today and send an update Forum reply. Thanks Mike!
