This is the updated event for Wed. Oct 16th. Social hour starts at 5:30pm and forum begins at 6pm. Come early if you want to gather and sit together. Maybe wear your PWP shirt?

We have a social event at Mogie’s scheduled for Wednesday evening. Would anyone be interested in the following or somehow combining both events?
Paddle On Community Forum
Floaters, boaters, spectators and skeptics are invited to join Linda John of Visit Eau Claire, Mike Golat from the City of Altoona, and other community stakeholders for this forum on how the Chippewa Valley community can maximize the potential of the Eau Claire River as a recreational and economic resource safely and responsibly. The event will begin with perspectives by a panel of water enthusiasts, city officials, and river experts, and transition into a forum where community members can share their experiences with the Eau Claire and ideas on how to best utilize its potential. Visit Eau Claire and city leaders will record input to inform future educational opportunities, recreational events, and the development of water-related infrastructure that will ensure everyone can enjoy the heck out of the Eau Claire River, and do it safely. Snacks, beverages, and socializing begin at 5:30pm.
