Thursday evening this week, we have an outdoor event at Pinehurst (hopefully). We plan to try the snowshoe trails (if they are packed down we will just hike without snowshoes). There are a bunch of trails -- maybe bring your headlamp. http://www.pinehurstpark.org/trail-map
There is also skating, sledding and xc-skiing. We can hang out at the fire too.
BUT -- if it is rainy -- we will change plans and go to Lake Hallie Golf Restaurant -- they have a great fish fry they offer on Thursdays as well as Fridays.
I will let you know Thursday afternoon once the weather gods decide what they are going to do.
Drive safe -- the roads are slippery!

Bring skis, snowshoes, sleds or ice skates. They groom for both classic and skate skiing.
Nancy said you could drop your kayak off at the top of the hill via Princeton Valley if you are feeling a little crazy. It's a big hill! See her facebook comment for details.
There will be a nice fire and a warming house to hang out and socialize too.
