The rookie Rendezvous is for those who have had their gear and skills checked off with Stephe or any other qualified member. We have the group camp site reserved for the nights of the 28th through the 30th. So, show up any time after 4 pm on Thursday. We will need to vacate the camp site on Sunday afternoon.
The registration fee of $40 covers your camping fee. You will need to bring your own camping gear and food. There are showers and restrooms at the camp grounds.
We will be paddling along the shore of Lake Superior and, weather permitting, we will make a crossing and, perhaps, visit some sea caves. For safety purposes all participants will be required to wear a wet suit or dry suit. You should have your pfd, spray skirt, and any other safety gear with you.
