MINUTES OF 8/18/04 MEETING

Renee Kuester-Sebranek brought to the meeting the flyers and cards that she designed and printed for the club.  Members who have run out of flyers and cards were able to get additional copies.

Jon reported on the status of the web site.  The hosting companies he contacted will not accept payment by check.  Instead, they all require payment by credit card or by PayPal.  Jon offered to pay the fee on his credit card and submit for reimbursement to the club treasurer/secretary.

A motion was made and passed for Jon to pay for the web hosting fee and bill the club for reimbursement.

A motion was made and passed to renew our registration of the domain name, Purewaterpaddlers.com for two years.  Jon will renew the domain name and submit the bill to the club for reimbursement.

Don suggested the club consider opening a PayPal account in the future to pay for these fees.

Upcoming trips and events were discussed.
