Renee
Kuester-Sebranek brought to the meeting the flyers
and cards that she designed and printed for the club. Members who have run out of flyers and cards
were able to get additional copies.
Jon
reported on the status of the web site.
The hosting companies he contacted will not accept payment by
check. Instead, they all require payment
by credit card or by PayPal. Jon offered to pay the fee on his credit card
and submit for reimbursement to the club treasurer/secretary.
A
motion was made and passed for Jon to pay for the web hosting fee and bill the
club for reimbursement.
A
motion was made and passed to renew our registration of the domain name,
Purewaterpaddlers.com for two years. Jon
will renew the domain name and submit the bill to the club for reimbursement.
Don
suggested the club consider opening a PayPal account
in the future to pay for these fees.
Upcoming
trips and events were discussed.

paddlers are accompanying Jeff to the

and Ken discussed a new trip to be scheduled on September 5-6 (Labor day). This will be a
float-fish-camp trip on the Flambeau.
Ken reported that he always catches a Musky when fishing the
Flambeau. Renee commented that he is
fishing for smallmouth bass. More
details will be sent out next week.

will check into group rates for the movie on August 27th.
A reminder that the Waterwalker Film Festival
will be at UW Stout on September 25th at
